Now this is interesting ...
I played with editing my speed dial shortcut. If the URL was http://forums.opera.com, then Opera would log me back in and redirect to https://forums.opera.com ... If I changed the URL to https://forums.opera.com then restarted opera (to clear the session cookies) it would log me out and redirect to http://forums.opera.com

Funny stories are for the Lounge, mind you.
My bad. I didn't know any good one about nginx.

Everyone's suppose to guess or be sitting at his computer with him.
Oh, and forum automatic log-in and save has always worked for me, Opera (Presto) 12.14 Linux.

So the issue of it not working in Opera 22 is a joke to you guys? Seriously??

No, the joke is, how is anyone suppose to guess which browser you are using when the problem appears for you, when you fail to even mention it.

In one of my posts:
"There seems to be a pattern here, as recent versions of Opera are also Chromium based with additions and tweaks." (a clue at least, in context with the rest of that post, that I'm not using the older Opera.)In another one:
"That's good for those using Opera 11, but 21 is a different story. :)"Yeah, I didn't mention it at all...

@islander5460
You failed to mention in your previous post (just before your last one) which browser was having problems with saving your log-in state. Bearing in mind you said in an even earlier post:
Logins are saved in the latest versions of:
Chrome
Firefox
Internet Explorer
Seamonkey
and:
There are two browsers that do not log me automatically:
Maxthon Cloud
SlimJet
Plus what you just quoted yourself say in your last post. Where does that leave those that are reading this with regards to your problem browser wise ?.
Oh, and Chrome is based on Chromium (Blink) too, just like Opera 15+, but that does not seem to have the same problem for you.

In Opera 23.0.1522.72, the forum login is not saved between sessions.
Other browsers, Chromium based or not, have various results. However, it needs to be fixed in this browser, in order to make it more attractive as a default choice.

Sometimes, with my Ole Firefox, I happen to not get logged in automatically. While it's not the case with Opera and Google Chrome.
Sometimes. Like 1 in several.
Whatever it is - buggy-muggy or oky-doky - such behaviour rather suits me: I like have a guarantee that if all of a sudden a bad guy should gain access to the computer, this account of mine will fail him one day.
Though that hypothetical bad guy sure have my other two options! -
