How can I block all pop-ups without addons?

I know that Google Chrome blocks all pop-ups by default. Firefox blocks all when the exceptions on "about:config dom.popup_allowed_events" are delete. What about Opera? Can it block everything without addons?

Opera has "Do not allow any site to show pop-ups (recommended)" set by default. That blocks all automatic pop-ups. If you click on a link to trigger a pop-up, that's allowed. Chrome works the same way.
Are there any pop-ups that get through in Opera but not in Chrome on http://www.popuptest.com?

@leocg On Firefox it seems very simple. If I have no exceptions on "about:config dom.popup_allowed_events", when I go to https://www.duolingo.com/ and click "Sign in with Google", the window "https://accounts.google.com/signin/..." is blocked. Chrome and Opera let it open.

With this extension, you can download Chrome extensions. I'd take a look at some of Chrome's pop-up blocker extensions. There are a few. Here's one that might work. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/popup-blocker-strict/aefkmifgmaafnojlojpnekbpbmjiiogg?hl=en.
