      I have just printed an embedded PDF, but some cryptic characters are displayed.
      The print view was normal.
      I then downloaded the pdf, and the print was fine.

      Did the problem ever happen to someone?

        cryptic like? Icons, emoji, some foreign alphabet - look like a Cyrillic alphabet, Arabic, ... some clue what it might be would help.

          I hope, you can understand me. The preview of the print is correct, print as pdf is correct too, printing the downloaded pdf is correct too.

          But the print of the embedded PDF looks like this.

              Unfortunately no, it is a mailing label with personal data and apart from that it is only available 24 hours.

              Here someone had a similar problem, unfortunately, no solution.

                Obviously, Opera can not access system fonts.
                If Opera sends the document directly to the printer, it comes to the missing characters, if the print runs through the system, then it does not.

                I have for now a solution, print as picture:
