I'm a probie in the use of Opera. Now it looks like I've done something that caused that the menu bar has vanished. I've been searching in help files but I can not find the opties in my browser(version?) that match with what is published in the help files. When I open the menu by clicking the Opera logo I find several options, including Settings, but nowhere I can find how to realize that the main menu in text is visual on top of the tabs.
Can someone tell me what to do? -

Thanks leocg. Clear answer.
It still makes me wonder why the help file contains information that doesn't seem to feet the 49 version of Opera. -

I opened the Helpfile by clicking in the main menu or pressing F1. I thought that would be the way to get the proper information. I wouldn't know how to reach the wanted help information otherwise.

@leocg Here's the screenshot of the screen that I get after clicking at the Opera logo in the upper left corner and on the submenu Help. In the screenshot that is part of the helppage it says next to the Opera logo that there should be a (Main) menu. The submenu's in that screenshot are different than the one's in the main menu I cab open.

It's a Windows 7 based screenshot - Opera help -, they should be advised that the image is not updated, at least if Windows 7 shares the latests updates in every part of Opera.
Your local screenshot is from Windows 10, are you talking about your W10 machine or about a W7 one?

@zalex108 My OS is Windows 10. And your reaction makes me feel stronger that the help-file does not comply with the latest version of the browser itself.
What is the most efficient way to let Opera know that the help-file is not updated? -

@leocg That's just my point. The help-file does not match with the current Ui. What's the most efficient way to get it done that I can reach and read the proper help-files?

Just to understand it:
- Have you upgraded from W7 to W10?
or
- Have you installed Opera and after checking the Help you've seen the image and its differences?

You can report the issue using "@ Opera-Employees" - just delete the space between the "@ and Opera-..." -, adding any other related and needed info and making a new post in this one thread.

I don't think it's necessary, just posting here should be enough. Also, addressing a group or even a single person doesn't guarantee that your post.

Well...
