Scroll not working, mouse wheel.

I am using opera 49 on Win 8.1. Some time around version 48, the mouse wheel stopped working for scrolling, just on some sights. Rough estimate, half the sites won't scroll. It is a Logitech K350 keyboard/mouse combo.
I can grab the scroll bar and scroll. I can middle click the mouse wheel and change to the scroll icon and scroll. But on some sites, I can't wheel.
It will briefly scroll when I first start the browser on those sites, for about two or three rotations of the wheel, them stops and will no longer scroll.

I have a site where there appears to be an invisible div on the screen, and doing anything with the mouse (scrolling, clicking) other than actually moving it simply doesn't work. As this behavior isn't limited to Opera on that site I never reported it. Having said that, I have no issue with shirtforums. Haven't checked the other yet...
That seems to work also M570 trackball.
