Opera function of Blocking content not showing

Hi, I don't have the "block content" in my menu option, why?
when I see demos of opera I see many options in the menu that I don't have?
why?-----but my main question is why I don't have the content blocker in my menu -

Content blocker is a Settings option, and enabled by default. At the right end of the address field is an icon that looks like a shield - clicking on this will give you the option to disable it on a given site.
You never said what version of Opera you have, or of Windows for that matter.

Because there is no such option in Opera's menu? Or are you talking about the ad-blocker, what also isn't in the menu?

What demos? They are recent? They are about current versions of Opera?

They are talking about Opera Presto, what are how Opera versions up to 12 are usually called to distinguish them from Opera Chromium (From version 15).
Don't know why they wrote an article about an very old version of Opera without mentioning it.

Is there a way that I can block a specific ad with the current Opera browser plz?
