How to open a minimalistic Opera window from command line?

  • Hello,

I wonder if there is a way to start a minimalistic Opera window, I mean no Opera menu, no plug‑ins, no tabs, etc.

I tried man opera-developer but it does not exists, and opera-developer --helps does not seems to show options for this. So I wonder if it's feasible and if it is, how can I achieve it.

I was using Surf, from Suckless Tools, when I faced an issue where it was clear its layout engine is outdated. So I wanted to use Opera instead, but I know no way to open a Opera instance as minimalistic as Surf is.

  • I don't think there is a way to do it.

  • Opera supports many (but not all) command-line arguments for Chromium, check any of multiple online lists to find these.
