How to remove dark overlay on start screen?

Dear Opear-Community,

I'm very pleased with the performance of the opera browser, but I don't like the dim look of the start page themes. I have found this article https://dev.opera.com/articles/working-with-theme-overlay/ but unfortunately this modification appears to no longer be an option. Is there any way to remove this dark overlay on current versions of opera?

(Also will there be Qwant as an option as standard browser in the future?)

Start Page is getting a rework. Also They are still yet to "finalize" Neonify & Rebonify it.. So better to wait when they update those dev-sections. They still prolly figure how much of Reborn they let to be modified through speed dial API... Hmmm.

Thanks for your reply! I really hope they'll build in an option to remove the overlay, and with Qwant it would be my favorite browser!
