[Solved]Finding Previous Versions of Opera

I have been quite happy using Opera 36 (v. 36.0.2130.65) for quite a while, but I'm starting to run into web pages that say I need to update. But it looks like the current version of Opera (and apparently every version since Opera 40) has a serious memory leak issue as reported in "new version - OUT OF MEMORY issue" - Opera for Windows Forum that appears not to have been resolved as of 8/10/2017.
So I was justified in not letting Opera update automatically, but finding old versions of Opera was quite a chore: none of my old links to Opera's version archives and changelogs worked.
I have tried searching this forum but couldn't find this info. Please feel free to correct me.
Changelogs for major versions are now stored in seperate Opera Blogs articles. so for Opera 40 that would be "Changelog for 40" - Opera blogs. For versions to 40 this is in the changelog-[major version no.]/ subdirectory of blogs.opera.com/desktop/. This seems to have changed format with version 41 to the changelog-for-[major version no.]/ subdirectory. Easier to just Google "opera [major version no.] changelog".
OK. Now I can see if there were a slew of issues with a particular version, but finding where to download was another chore.
Finally located them in
http://www.opera.com/download/index.dml/?os=windows&list=all
A little worried if these installers work for both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows (I have Windows 8 64-bit). Won't find out until back from Labor Day vacation: learned the hard way not to make major changes to my system or particular installations unless I have plenty of time on hand.
Once again, correct me if this info has been posted elsewhere.
Thanks
