Try disabling ad-blocker.

Or anything that might be interfering with the general design/style/functionality of the web. JS/CSS disabling scripts, web stylizing add-ons or something similar. I have had one cause issues in the past.

Yes. Disabled Opera Block Ads and AdBlock and the find box stays alive.
