      Hi,

Is there a parameter in OPERA to force it to directly go to the new Tab, after I have clicked on "Open in a new Tab" ?

      Thanks

it is a pity : this is a very usefull feture of Firefox and it should not be a big deal to implement it in Oper...

I have found THE add-on that brings this feature to opera: you just have to install the "Tabs to the front" extension, available here:

            https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/tabs-to-the-front/?display=en

So Opera is now pleasant to use...

It's pretty ridiculous that clicking "open in a new tab" doesn't do that and then immediately go to the new tab. Surely that's what you would almost always want it to do!
              Internet Explorer is the same.
              Completely illogical behaviour IMO!
              🙂

I guess many people like to open several links from a page to read them later. But I agree that it should be at least configurable.
