For some reason every time I try to go to the Youtube from new windows on thee latest opera ver # 46.0.2597.57 (PGO) it insist setting my Content Location to India instead of United States where I am. Google Geolocation shows my correct location, and if I try to go from Edge or Chrome it displays the correct Content Location

Do you use the VPN and/or private Windows?

Mind you, there was a guy posting from Argentina with the same issue with the same problem; I stopped watching that thread but you might check to see what answer he found.

How do you access Youtube? You type the address or do you have a Speed Dial entry? If the second, how did you add it to your Speed Dial?

It usually means that an extension or a broken profile may be causing the issue.

both I guess when speed dial its red icon and I add it like this Add a site

So you added Youtube to SD using 'add a site' and not through 'Suggestions'?

Really weird as YT doesn't even use Flash, at least by default.

I'm actually on Opera 47.0.2631.39 and it's quite easy to recreate the Youtube bug with India set as content location using the speed dial suggestions.

This bug, though not really a bug, was discussed before and the solution is to save a Youtube version with your preferred content location on speed dial.

And you added it by typing the url? or did you pick one of the suggestions?

Why does Opera browser keeps suggesting Youtube with India as its content setting for speed dial? Considering most people watch Youtube a lot then I can well imagine millions of users being hugely upset over this matter.

It's also quite easy to edit the URL under the Youtube speed dial setting. Just change the last to letters to your geographic area. I replace IN with GB as I'm from the UK.

As far as I can tell, there is no Youtube content location bug on speed dial.

Edit: Just testing the 30minute editing facility as this facility wasn't available because my first 11 posts were on moderation.
