How can i pass a download to an external download manager?

I would like start a download in an external download manager.
I don't find an extension like that https://flashgot.net/

Unless the download manager provides a way to integrate it with Opera, I don't think there is much to be done.

You could try any extension made for chrome by first installing the Download Chrome Extension

Some years ago I used Free Download Manager quite a bit. It was pretty easy to configure and was not speed throttled even though it is totally free. You might try the chrome extension for it. Free Download Manager Chrome Extension

Edit: I used to use FlashGot too btw. But unless you are doing multiple links you really don't need an extension. FDM has a drop target. Just drag the dowload link and drop it on the target window to download.
