VPN not working after upgrade to Windows 10

Hi, I was using Opera with Windows 7 because I liked the built in VPN. Today I upgraded to Windows 10, and suddenly the new install of Opera 46.0 won't load webpages while I have VPN active. Speed Dial opens when I launch the browser, but when I type a site into the address bar, nothing happens. Disabling VPN allows me to navigate the web as normal, but I would prefer having the privacy feature functional. Can someone please help me with a fix? Thank you.
