[Solved]WebRTC confusion

Apologies if this is the wrong forum. WebRTC is the recommended Opera setting. When receiving updates, Disable non-proxied UDP is checked, and WebRTC is not. I've done my best to research what this is all about and have been left extremely confused.
There are many Google search results that suggest that WebRTC should NOT be used with Opera? I have been unable to find out why?
I use two machines, one running Win7 Pro 32-bit, the other Win10 Anniversary 64-bit.
On both machines I use the integrated Opera VPN and addblock, always starting Opera in Private page.
Is there a privacy issue with WebRTC, as that has also been suggested from Google search results.

WebRTC may be able to bypass VPN and reveal your true IP address when default settings are on. Checking 'Disable non-proxied UDP' should prevent this to happen.

Thanks for your response Leo, and I now understand why WebRTC is not checked when receiving updates and have ensured my machines have 'Disable non-proxied UDP' checked.
