Disable tab bar's top spacing when browser window is maximized: NOT WORKING

After a recent update my Opera will no longer adjust for this setting, I'm constantly clicking on the tab where it isn't registering, I have the setting selected in Opera settings but the space remains when maximized. Any thoughts?

Same here, Windows 7, 120dpi (text size 125%), Opera dev 48 (all latest dev versions exhibit such behavior). On Windows 10 (same settings) everything is good.

This setting stopped working after Reborn, don't know if due to a bug or if it has just been deprecate.
I hope the devs are aware, it's truly a brutal bug.

Must be bug - usually when Opera behavior differs on W7 and W10, then W7 behavior is wrong

I'm on 46.0.2597.57 (PGO) and it doesn't work.
After I pinned the reborn sidebar, tab no longer selects if I click on the edge.
TBH this setting should be enabled by default, it makes so much easier clicking on each tab.
