Redirection to Russian Site

When I'm browsing ...in English....and click on a "contact us" line or button, this site comes up?????

The language is Russian.....it appears Opera has chosen the site for me...How??? and How do I set the email acc't (in English) I want to appear?

Web sites can indicate to a browser that they provide particular services. Apparently you visited a Yandex site and they told Opera they provide email service. In Settings it should be possible to clear this setting.

Now that I'm on my desktop ... it is called "Handlers" and is on the "Privacy and security". You can click on the Manage handlers button to clear just the mailto handler (or other handlers, if there are any), and you can also click on a radio button to prevent Opera from accepting any websites as (protocol) handlers.

Thanks also solved problem of Google maps coming up in Russian with map of Russia.....close and reopen was needed.
