Opera v45.0.2552.888 desktop browser does not appear compatible with TP-Link, Model TL-WR841N (v9). When logging into TP-Link, the Opera browser indicates "Login not secure" (whatever I do), and the badge indicates "Unprotected connection" and "This connection is not protected" when accessing TP-Login. I did not have this issue with Opera v44. There is nothing wrong with my TP-Link, and I can only access a secure connection when using IE (and I would prefer not using IE). My default goto browser is set to Opera. Please can Opera developers have a look at this security issue?

Meanwhile you can try with a User-agent switcher extension.

Hi Zalex108. Thank you for reply. What is, and where do I find a "User-agent switcher extension" please? Sorry not heard of that before. For additional info, this connection is showing secure with green padlock, and am also using VPN set to Optimal. Have tried several different methods to TP-Link again but no joy. Remains same as outlined in original query. Thanks for assistance.

You should search it (User agent switcher) at Addons.opera.com.
At the other hand,
do you access to your router through the IP address? My router's connection isn't secure either but I don't receive any warning even.

Are you talking about the forums connection¿?

Zalex108 -- Sorry, yes, this forums connection is showing secure connection green padlock badge - but only when logged in to account. I'm also using Opera VPN. When not logged in, the connection isn't secure. I don't access router login via IP. I changed TP-Link user&pswd from default to my own login detail. I'll check out Addons. Thank you.
Connection comes from broadband line into modem, which then goes to router, which then goes to PC. Have no problems on other sites so I guess this may be an Opera glitch which may be cleared at the next desktop update. The Opera browser is my 'best friend', and I use IE as little as possible. Opera far more user friendly. -

If the connection is not secure then it's the regular behavior.
and "This connection is not protected" when accessing TP-Login
But you are able to login?

Then, from your comment it seems that in older versions had worked fine, right?
Usually user access and secure connections are involved, despite some exceptions.I use a modem-router and I can access it via its IP, can you try accessing via IP to check what happens?
I suppose 192.168.1.1 or any similar combination 192.168.1.0, 192.168.0.1...At the other hand, you could try to access it through a Private window too.
