Our meraki is sending off alerts when users load opera saying "url https://af.opera.com/..., server 37.228.108.252:443" Turbo mode is off but we are still reaching out to this IP. Any ideas why? Can we turn this off somehow?

Opera is accessing the site to get some info?

The connection to the server? Probably not, unless you block it. But I don't know how it would impact Opera.

Cisco Meraki flags it as "Proxy Avoidance and Anonymizers" which is why it is getting flagged. I guess I can whitelist but I wanted to check to see if anyone knew why it reaches out every couple seconds, seems excessive.

Not using VPN or Turbo? Opera will still contact its servers for the phishing and malware checks, if Sync is enabled and (less often) to check for updates. Not sure which services use that address though.
