how is it that your opera also doesn't load the Pandora page??

The page is blank and in the tab it looks like it is loading.

Disabling adblocker didn't help as well as changing the user agent.

I will try with a clean profile later.

leo, same as me, loading with a clean profile allowed the page to load.

Let me know if you find a fix, thanks

I've just tried with today's developer build using a clean profile and I still can see the issue.

Wonder why, then, when I use the current stable Opera I can load the page with a clean profile?

I've checked now in Opera Stable with a clean profile and the page loaded.

So what you are saying is the issue exists with you on Opera Stable (does not load), except with a clean profile.

And with developer version with a clean profile it does NOT load.

Here, Pandora is working on every Opera version.

Yep. When I created a new clean profile, the page started to load.

And with developer version with a clean profile it does NOT load.

                    That's it.

Obviously there's something in leo and my Opera setup/preferences etc that prevents it from loading.

Found the culprit, in "browser.js" if you search for "pandora" (opening it with notepad), you will see a few occurrences of this word.

I closed Opera, renamed browser.js, and reopened Opera, voila, Pandora loads.

So...is there any way to edit browser.js so as to remove the pandora references...or does Opera actually need this file at all (I see that when I rename it, Opera will write a new "browser.js". If I just leave THIS new one, what happens to Opera's performance??

Or...is there some way to go to "flags" and disable or enable something under the "javascript" topic??

There is an entry in browser.js::

"PATCH-1251: Avoid requiring Flash player on pandora.com"

Nope, it would probably make the file to be seen as invalid an a new one would be downloaded.

Browser.js has been around since a decade most probably and it's used to fix some bad pages.

You may compare Pandora's line in both files and post it, then Leo could check if has the same.

About the questions, didn't dive into that file.
But if I'm not wrong, contains workarounds for some sites to make them work.

SO...am I good to just leave the newly created browser.js file if I rename the original one??
