This is okay, or maybe the Lounge.

They have a selection of avatars available if you go to your profile page and click on Change avatar, though if you want a custom avatar you'll need to go through Gravatar - and if you do that, other services which use Gravatar will automatically pick it up (some people object to that).

You can use one available in your forum profile or you can associate your e-mail with an Gravatar account and use any image.
