Hi all , first post
I have a MBP 17 , L2011 , running Mac OS 10.12.3 . In January , I installed Opera Neon on my device . It had been working well , albeit with the usual bugs from a newly released product , nothing too serious
Recently ,since upgrading to 10.12.3 , Opera Neon will not open, in that when you open it , it " crashes unexpectedly " . I have tried uninstalling , and reinstalling with a new disk image , to no avail
I wonder if anyone can help ?

The answer just above your comment is valid for you too.
Yes , but if we cannot open Neon , to reset the profile , then how else can one reset the profile ?
Also , just out of interest , what version of Chromium does Neon run ?

There is nothing about profile in the reply just above your previous one. The answer I was talking about is:
Neon uses a very old version of Chromium so issues are kinda expected.
Remember that Neon is just a concept browser and it's not intend for regular use. Also, you don't need to open Neon to reset the profile.

Welcome to Opera forums @Palominoloko!
Palominoloko
Opera neon blocks twitch.tv website,
LeoCg
It's probably related that Neon uses a old version of Chromium so it tends to get even more worse within time.

Will Opera Neon provide cast feature?
The feature "picture in picture" video window could allow several video window.
Thanks. -

Issue logging into online video streams: i.e. MSNBC via ATT.
Can I log into regular video streams like MSNBC-live video with NEON?
I've been trying and all seems the same as other browsers until the point of log in.
What I get is this: When choosing the "Live TV" choice on the MSNBC site; I'm transported
to the familiar blank (browser) screen with "Please log in" and an image of a Key in the center.
Whether I choose to log in via the link in the upper right hand corner, use the drop down menu
at the bottom of the pop up window that is displayed when clicking the blank screen or choosing the
AT&T logo among the many provider logos at the top of the pop up screen, the result is the same.
The browser goes through a quick set of links, returns to the "blank" "Please log in" screen and
asks for me to, of course, Please log in. It's infuriating. No matter how I try to "Log in" it just
asks over and over for me to log in. This whether I'm logged into my MSNBC account or not. It doesn't matter.
The result is always the same.
I do have flash enabled and updated. I don't have any extensions, themes etc. The NEON install is fresh
and uninhibited by add on's and the like.
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards.

hi, I'm comparing Chromium performance to Neon. But, in Chromium i have set many non-default flags. Is there some way to import them? If not, consider this a request to add an "Import settings and flags" feature.
Some observations:
-Great Opera speed!
-Hope footprint can stay small.
-Hope you can bring back --single-process, i'm on limited RAM.
-The "tabs", sorry "bubbles", are very space inefficient. I'd like to see more at once. I don't see a way to make 'em smaller.
-Hard to tell which is the active bubble at first.
-Can't find a way to get full width on the webpage. True, i can F11, but in other browsers you get full width without hiding the tabs.
-Would be convenient to have a close 'X' on the browser window too, not just on the bubble. If the active bubble is scrolled out of view, then i have to scroll the bubbles to find the active one, before i can close it? Too much mousing. Totally not intuitive that if i want to close 'this', i have to go over there someplace else and click 'that'.
-When i approach a bookmark close-X from lower left, it runs away from me. Quite annoying for something to run away from you when you're about to click it!
-Inconvenient that i have to hide the active window to see the bookmarks. Neon seems inconvenient and over-mousey in more ways than one.
-Wow, i can't believe i've been saying Opera wrong all these years! Tonight i'm going to see the Oprah. The Metropolitan Oprah.
(this comment box has no vertical scroll bar. Also inconvenient).
Thx

Hi guys!
I'm using the new Opera Neon, and he's really surprising me, is very fast, easy to use and really seems to be the browser reference in innovation and great look.
I wonder if it is no way to synchronize with the Opera Account, to be able to use the information saved on it.
Another thing I would like to know is if you're working on his translation to Portuguese of Brazil, because I can't wait to be able to indicate it to all my customers.
I look forward to great news.
A big hug and congratulations for doing something really new and amazing!

Hi, doubts and some needs
- For when does Opera Neon in Spanish?
- When will O.Neón have extensions?
- Where can you download the updates that are coming out?
Thank you very much

Opera Neon is a concept browser - it will never have updates. A "concept car" is a car that they have at an industry show to indicate where they think things might go about 4 years from now, it is not something you can buy from your local dealer. Likewise Neon shows where they think the browser might go in the future. Some of its features may be introduced into the regular Opera browser at some point in the future, but Neon itself will never be updated.
