New to Opera. Using v20. How do I change what it does with a certain kind of file, to download it or open it with a program? I see things in the http://www.opera.com/help/tutorials/personalize/ area that I can't find in my browser. "Settings" only has "Browser, Websites, Privacy & Security" I don't see "Preferences" "quick preferences" or "appearance" or other things referred to in the tutorials.

That document (tutorial) you are reading is for the old version of Opera (version 12.16 and older).

The new (current) version of Opera is a completely different beast, which is 'based' on Chromium (a long distant cousin of google chrome).

I think you can change in windows what "standard programs" you want to use for different types of files. Then when you have downloaded a file with Opera, it should be opened with that program.
Only way I can think of at least, might not work, but I'd give it a try.

I want to import bookmarks from Chrome. The Bookmark Importer is grayed out. What do I need to do?
