Using v20.  How do I change what it does with a certain kind of file, to download it or open it with a program?  I see things in the <a href="http://www.opera.com/help/tutorials/personalize/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">http://www.opera.com/help/tutorials/personalize/</a>  area that I can't find in my browser.  "Settings" only has "Browser, Websites, Privacy &amp; Security"  I don't see "Preferences"  "quick preferences" or "appearance" or other things referred to in the tutorials.</p>

Then when you have downloaded a file with Opera, it should be opened with that program.<br />
Only way I can think of at least, might not work, but I'd give it a try.</p>

<p dir="auto">The new (current) version of Opera is a completely different beast, which is 'based' on Chromium (a long distant cousin of google chrome).</p>
