Opera and Opera developer now freezing

I started experiencing very slow initial load time for Opera

But Opera freezes? If not then your issue is unrelated to this topic's subject and you should open a new topic.

Version : 41.0.2353.69

Please try with the more recent build: 42.0.2393.94

Have you installed some 3rd party antivirus or security package?

I have Webroot SecureAnywhere.

Now, Opera developer is no longer working anymore. It did work for a few seconds before it started freezing up again.

I get the impression that you're suffering from a DNS related problem which affects the browsers. Have you tried other browsers at your disposal to see if that caused issues as well?

Also: what start page do you use? Does it open a specific page or something?
