[Dup]abandon the distinction between 'default search engines' and 'other search engines'

Since Opera makes a big case about privacy, allow any search engine to be made the default one. Right now one is forced to choose from a fixed set of search engines that do not encourage privacy. If one wants to use e.g. disconnect.me or startpage.com as the default search engine, one has to use a prefix each time a search with either one of these search engines is executed. Besides the fact that it is very tedious to do so, it is also unclear why Opera has set this restriction on default search engines in the first place.
