Can you post a screenshot of Opera's task manager at that point or shortly before?

I went to https://www.twitch.tv and nor with the stream on the home page nor with a randomly picked one I was able to reproduce the issue. It does uses a lot of memory but Opera never went 'out of memory'.
I'm on Windows 10 running on a I5-4590 with 8GB of RAM and a Intel HD4600 graphic card if that matters.

Today I was only able to watch 5 videos on EnganeMe.Tv and Opera said out of memory. I'm clearing the cache each time to see if it helps but no luck.

Can confirm memory leak. Happens both on youtube and twitch, haven't tested any other livestreaming sites yet.
I've opened a stream in incognito mode and left it open while I was registering here. Here are three screenshots of my task manager. First picture taken right after I've opened a stream, second one about 5 minutes later and next one 10 or 15 minutes later. As I writing this post, it's already at 1 gigabyte.

It happened on Clixsense.com
Couldn't reproduce on this one.

Going to switch to other browser until this is fixed. Honestly I lost trust in Opera completely after this. Such a terrible bug released into production , don't they test these things anymore?
I am having the same issues. With 5 tabs open (mainly text sites/video sites) Opera sucks up 2-3 GB of RAM . This is insane. You are going to lose users.
http://engageme.tv -> outofmemory for me as well.

Me too using V42 on Windows 7. Started happening a couple of weeks ago and happens when I have multiple tabs open on youtube.
Very disappointing and amazed that no-one has either addressed the issue or at least recognized it.
Have had to switch back to firefox. -

You would be amazed at the number of people that come here and have some weird issue that no one else has experienced or even seen anywhere else. It is very hard to track something down when you can't reproduce it.

'That no-one else has reported'?
There are about 10 people above with the same issue. I think there are other threads on here with similar issues as well. Is it not a coincidence that a number of people all of a sudden have the similar symptoms when previously everything was fine? Just because you can't reproduce it doesn't mean that there isn't a problem. I agree that makes it very hard to deal with, but please believe us. -

I'm having the same issue on ANY page! Pages with videos only accelerate that issue.
After closing all tabs, memory still remains full and i must restart opera.

Just because you can't reproduce it doesn't mean that there isn't a problem. I agree that makes it very hard to deal with, but please believe us.The point is that if "most" users don't see a given problem, including the developers on their systems, it is very difficult for those others to track down the cause of a problem they aren't seeing - even if the problem sufferers number in the several hundred out of the million(s) or more total users. This isn't the same thing as denying a problem exists. There are a vast number of variables between different user systems, in terms of hardware, installed software, and customized user settings. Consequently, the more information supplied in a problem report about a user's OS (type and version), his video system (including drivers), his antimalware software, and some of his custom settings (especially graphics acceleration or not, open tab count, specific webpages or videos, etc), the greater the opportunity for helpers/developers to assist in tracking down possible problem causes - and, hence, to provide likely fixes.
