Hello,
I use this website to read my daily devotions: http://odb.org when I'm using a different browser such as chrome or firefox, the play audio arrow functions correctly... when I click on the play arrow while using opera..nothing happens.
Has anyone else had the same issue ?
Thanks,
David -

Hello,
Thanks SO much for your replies..I have just about decided that the issue I'm having is an issue with my laptop that's running Microsoft Windows 7 SP1 32-bit operating system. The laptop I'm typing this reply on is running Microsoft Windows 10 32-bit edition with the latest version of opera, and on this laptop the website in question http://odb.org/ performs correctly. I'll perform some further testing as soon as possible and report back.
Sincerely,

Hi Everyone,
I've tried everything I know to try to get the audio to play properly on this page http://odb.org/, I'm typing this reply on the same laptop that I mentioned in my original post. I'm using the google chrome browser at the present time, the audio plays correctly while using the chrome browser, I would hate to have to give up using opera just because the audio won't play on the webpage I mentioned. There has to be something I can do to fix my issue.
Thanks,
David -

Dear leocg,
No, the mp3 file wouldn't play correctly while using the opera browser, however it does play using other browser's.

Hi leoc g,
On the laptop I'm typing this reply on with the audio issue I've described I couldn't capture a screen image that you requested. However I can report what information appears on that page:Players Tab: None
Audio Tab:Input Controllers - None, Output Controllers - None, Output Streams - None
Video Capture Tab: NoneNo wonder the audio isn't playing..thanks again for ALL of your help !!

There's no need of a screen image. Just copy and paste the text here.
Players Tab: None
Audio Tab:Input Controllers - None, Output Controllers - None, Output Streams - None
Video Capture Tab: NoneThis is the only info on the page?

Dear leoc g,
On this web page, http://odb.org there isn't any video..only sound. When I click on the play button it at first acts like it's going to play but then goes right back to the same play triangle.

Oops, sorry.
When trying to play this file you should see a button with the file address in opera://media-internals/. Aren't you seeing it?
And when you click on that button you should see something like:

Hi leocg,
No, I'm not seeing anything when I click on the play button of the site in question. Also..just to let you know, I'm typing this reply using the firefox browser because when I try to access the opera forums with the opera browser I'm receiving a ' Opps something went wrong on our end ' message.
Thanks,

Hi leocg,
I surely would hate to give up using the opera browser just because it won't play mp3 file's. Of course i truly appreciate you trying to help me..surely someone else here in the forum's has had the same issue. Coincidentally, when I use the opera browser with windows 10, the mp3 file plays correctly.
