Pages blank out after using back button

I'm using Developer 41.0.2329.0 with 64 bit win 7. Up till a few days ago everything was normal but then when I went to read the press online and clicked on an article to read it in full after returning to the original page it would show as normal for a few seconds then be replaced with a blank page. It was not just one online paper doing this but many of them. I have also used Opera 39.0.2256.48 on the same sites (using same machine) and it has no problem.
Anybody got an idea what might be causing this?

This is the Opera Stable forum. You will probably get better results on the Opera Developer forum.
