Very Large Shockwave Flash tmp file in AppData

There's a 1.2GB tmp file in AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable\Pepper Data\Shockwave Flash.
Is it necessary? I tried clearing history in Opera (everything save passwords) but that didn't affect it. Can i simply delete this file?

If it is a tmp file then it should be safe - as long as Opera is closed when you do it.
