Sorry, didn't mean to say folder, wanted to say file.
Yes, they are in the Other Speed Dials folder in the bookmarks manager. How do I open them on the start page?

You need to copy them using the Bookmarks Manager from the "Other Speed Dials" folder to the "Speed Dial" folder, as I said earlier.
It's the entries in the latter folder that are actually displayed as the "start page".
If it has the default Speed Dial entries in it at the moment, delete them all, and then copy and paste the set of Speed Dial entries that you want over to the folder.
      That should be it.
      🙂

OK, this still isn't very clear, but I had a hunch and it worked.

Go to the Other Speed Dials page. Then...

        Ctrl-a
        Ctrl-c

Go to the speed dial bookmark and

        Ctrl-v

OK, got it now, thanks a bunch.

Now, my last question: how do I copy the login info from one PC to the other?

Assuming you mean your Opera Sync login, why do you need to do that?
Just login to your account again from the installation of Opera on the new PC.
You may be asked for your operating system login as it's a different machine.
                🙂

No, I do not mean any Sync Login, I don't even know what that is.
I'm talking about the user names, passwords for certain websites that Opera stores somewhere.

You enable Sync and then password synchronisation.

You can't manually copy the login info file from one computer to another because it will not work, since the file is encrypted using your OS account info.

Menu > synchronisation (or something like that).

So I need to create an account? And then, what? Upload the passwords and then download them into the new PC? Is that the idea?
                          Sorry for my silly questions.
As the guy in the first post said, I wish people would stop assuming that everyone knows what they are talking about.

To be able to use your saved passwords in others installations of Opera on different computers or OS accounts, yes.

                            And then, what?

Then Opera will sync your data and you be able to use it in another Opera installation by logging in.

Although Sync can of course be used for its obvious purpose of synchronising Opera data between different devices, which is its primary purpose, it also acts as a backup mechanism even if you only have one installation, as your Opera data is saved on Opera's servers and can be restored from there.
I would recommend anyone to enable Sync even if they only have one copy of Opera.
In your case it does depend on you still being able to run the original copy of Opera to get the information to the server.
                              🙂

Just remembering that if you delete/change anything in your Opera installation, it will be mirrored in the server's copy. So it may work as a backup in case of a crash and/or if you need to do a clean install of Opera but not in a case of erroneous remove of data.

                                    Indeed so!
Only a regular backup of the Opera profile folder on your computer will do that, or better still a regular backup of your whole computer!
