I am trying to use Opera and am using the new version 38. When I go on to certain sites, they load as plain text on white background with no images.

I have the latest java version, I have enabled and allowed everything in settings, but nothing changes. This is only for Opera.

This is happening even for Opera official pages, as you can see in the above screenshot, so I'm really not sure what is up. Please could anyone advise. Thanks.

      Version: Opera 38
      System: Win10 64-bit

Do you have Opera's built in ad blocked enabled? Try disabling it.

Do you use any extensions? If so, try with them disabled.

No,i disabled ad blocker. No extensions - I can't get on to the extensions page cause it displays wrong.

I literally just downloaded it. And I just downloaded it on my second PC and the same issue occurs.

Do you use any anti-virus? If so, it's the same for both computers? Try checking with anti-virus disabled.

I just turned my antivirus off and no improvement. My other PC is brand new and hasn't got any antivirus on it yet.

If it's any help - when I disable Javascript, the website I'm trying to use doesn't show at all. Enabling javascript loads it like the screenshots in OP, with text only.

With ad block disabled, ads DO show. The Facebook widget on the site also shows. Rest of the site just loads as text.

Do you use any program that can be blocking elements on that page? Like anti-malware, privacy protector and so on? Also, have you tried cleaning the cache?

Try https:// protocol - apparently this site uses stylesheets and other linked content from secure address, this may conflict with http:// address.

This is very stupid hack (or rather side effect of very stupid hack - attempt to disable content, if site is displayed inside [i]frame), introduced by site designers. You should complain to them (and about other problem - serving both secure and unsecure content on same page - too).
