Seems on "Mini" only Google is the search engine and it cannot be changed (lastest version). I would like other options as Google keeps search data indefinitely...Google is too powerful in my book and ought to be broken up as a conpany...I want to control my own data, not leave it in their hands...I would like to choose my own search engine...

Why do u guys have problem with saving photo's for offline.
As i said, (long) tap on the photo and save it.

All that Opera Mini developers need to do make some extreme improvement for built in poor download manager. Without Opera Mini's poor file downloading system Opera Mini is great.
Still facing too much problem when I try to download any file. Slow speed downloading is the big problem, Can't able to resume any large file if it failed anyhow while the following web server has resume capability, also Opera Mini can't able to download any large files from mediafire.com website both in High & Extreme saving mode. And there's a lot of file downloading problem. And the video playing system of Extreme mode needs much more improvements. -

The themes would've been better if they effected the whole ui and more colors need to be added and also would really love to have an option in extreme mode for switching between desktop mode and mobile mode, some sites are hard to open the full site currently.

I think it will be cool if the status bar become colored (not randomly) when we switching from a site to another like chrome tab: ex: blue on Facebook, and red on YouTube etc...

No matter what, Opera Mini needs to improve the built in poor download manager. I'm getting very slow speed though I'm on high speedy 3G & wifi network connection.

on data savings it's only showing the data saved not showing the amount of data downloaded. Is that intentional? if yes then why?

I cannot access any pages when they require a reCAPTCHA image. Does anyone else have this issue?

Found a bug with the download manager, not really sure how to reproduce it but occasionally this beta version will download my file twice I think it happens when I initiate a download & switch to another app but like I said I'm not sure how to reproduce it. It's happened several times, the 1st download will bring the usual dialog box but the duplicate doesn't, you'll just see it among the download list. Hope you understand what I mean, it's an annoying bug especially to us with data caps!

@kissgirl1974, thanks for the report. Before we fix the issue, you can switch to High mode where reCAPTCHA should work fine.

I don't know if this is a problem specific to Opera or Android but in forums when I want to reply or create a post the page for not move up enough so that the text field is visible above the keyboard Window so I have to type blind because the text is hidden behind the keyboard.
