Drop down address bar and speed dial Qns

Hi,
I am still on 12.16 of opera and would like to upgrade but i am still not used to Opera 20.
I would like to ask how to get the drop down address bar on earlier versions of Opera on Opera 20?
Also is there a way to open a blank page instead of speed dial?

There isn't one.

You can set Opera to Open with any pages, so i think it's possible. But i never tried.
