Link says I am not same user

  • I have been using Link on PC and iPad successfully for a while.

    For some reason it stopped syncing, so I unlinked the iPad and entered my login again for both - PC and iPad.

    The iPad says 'You are switching Opera account. Another user has synchronised data with this device. If you continue all data will be erased'.

    WTF?

    I am using the same login for both - what's the deal?

  • Changing first letter (or any) case when you wrote your username can trigger such a behaviour.

  • If you didn't understand the answer ... the username is case sensitive. If you typed all lower case but originally some letters were upper case, or vice versa, then it will consider you a different user.

  • Use tecla shift
