Joining beta tester does not work on Opera

When i click on the "be a tester" button, Opera ask me to open on other browsers, i selected Opera to open as default but it just open the new tab and load the same page over, over and over.

Steps to reproduce

1. Login with your Google account
2. Join this community: https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/102731918517125954346
3. Join beta tester: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.rsupport.mvagent/join?hl=en

Most probably you need to open the link in Play Store.

Play Store does not have join beta feature, so i must do it on the website. On Google Chrome, I clicked on the blue button and it says you are now a beta tester. On Opera, it trying to open a link

Try it yourself and let me know

Yes this is longgoing issue! Reported by me many times, still persist. Opera doesn't executes what should do but just open the same page in another window.

There have been users specifically asking not to open Play Store, so it seems like they can't win here. Either choice gets someone upset ...
