I've had to do this using Chrome as Opera won't log me in.
I can't edit my previous post now.
I keep getting "Error - Something went wrong on our end. We're sorry! If you're able, please let us know how you encountered the error." messages,
Of course the message is just a little bit vague about exactly how you're supposed to do this!

Logging out and logging in again may help. Also try cleaning the cookies.

Couldn't get the forums to use being logged in yesterday and today till recently. Tried both Opera 11 and Firefox (a "stable" and the latest). Same as Dave has shown.
While I wasn't logged yet (before autologging), I could see the forums like normal - with like Leo's morning update in it.
http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ was saying it was "just you".

Other sites were accessible quite all right, except for a couple of seemingly unrelated issues.

Again, in case something's wrong, there's the "MyOpera Refugees" page on Facebook; my username there is Josh.sarmat.Lincoln. Just in case.

They were working on it, I couldn't login either. Looks good for now…
