Hi *.
Google Hangouts does no work anymore. Not on Ubuntu 15.10 and not on Windows. The browser keeps wanting to install the hangouts-plugin which is already installed. Am I the only one with this failure? In case not please advice what to do to make Google Hangouts work again.
Two Windows computers:
-Version: 36.0.2130.29 - Opera is up to date Update stream: beta System: Windows 7 64-bit (WoW64)
Thank you. Best regards Axel

Same here. The error I get is hangouts PLUGIN no longer working. Reinstalled the plugin did not help. Is this a Google or Opera problem????

There's a problem on Google Hangouts website.
The plug-in is not supposed to install/work on Chromium-based browsers anymore (it's NPAPI). If you access with Google Chrome no plug-in is required. The same should be true to Opera but instead they're identifying Opera UA-String and breaking the functionality.
I'll make the issue noticed internally so Opera can contact Google and/or sitepatch.

Don't know if it will work but you can try using an extension to change Opera user agent into chrome's one.
Of course! I forgot to tell it works if you mask Opera's UA-String removing the last part "OPR..."
