i have been using Opera since May 31st. and i do like it a lot. but since last night i can not get pass "not responding" long story short ~ i had to do a factory restart which means i had to put Opera back on my computer but i'm still getting "not responding" plus when i go to Synch. i have no listing for any of my booksmarks, spped dials, etc. where are they at??? Does anyone know how i can fix this problem i do not want to give up on Opera and i had it just as i liked it, even my themes are no longer listed, it has only been a day?? help please

I'm going crazy with this problem. 2 days ago I started having problems with my computer, not related to Opera at all, I love my Opera and have it all set up like I want, so after several tries, I had to take my computer back to the start which meant I lost all apps, no problem, just put them back on, but now when I do try to go on to my Opera page I get the not responding and freeze, I have tried everything I know and have read to fix this problem, I reput Opera on from the removed apps file, so it should have been the same browser right? It was Opera Stable 32.0.1948.89. it will not let me sign in with my account that I was using just 2 days ago.
At the moment I have clean all of Opera off my computer.
yes I was using sync before.
yes I'm using the same account, when I go to my account page it shows my user name and how long I have had this account.
does this have anything to do with Windows 10?
As I said I do not want to lose my Opera.

Which Opera page? It happens on all pages or just on specific ones?

What happens when you try to login? Btw, you mean login to Sync?
when I go to my account page it shows my user name and how long I have had this account

- the problem was that when I signed on to windows 10 the sign in page came on I put in my password clicked enter and then nothing, just a blank black screen, I worked on this for a few hours by closing down and restart, I was able to get into safe-mode and did a clean with my Iobit apps. I then went into the computer and did a recover from the computer to factory own.
2.it happens when I go to the start page, the page that comes up when I click on the Opera icon, the page freezes and then in the tab I get the not responding, it takes a few times to close the page down. I have tried this several times with the same problem,
3.i tried to log onto the Sync, in the right hand corner of the page, I did this because when the Opera page opened up my themes, speed dial, etc. was not on the page. I put in my user name but it will not take my password.
3.i just used the link that you sent and now I see the number list of all my bookmarks, sped dial, etc. The last few time I did this without the link that you sent I saw nothing. I'm scared to do anything now
At the moment I do not have any Opera browser on my computer.
What do I do now????

It seems a different issue not linked to the sync one so maybe it would be better to create a separate topic for it. There are some similar reports by the way.

It's not accepting your password? It shows any error message?

So it seems that your data is safe on the server.
The last few time I did this without the link that you sent I saw nothing
It seems that there is some connection issue so Opera can't get the data from the sync server.
Does opera://sync-internals/ shows anything unusual, specially under Credentials and Local State?

Sorry if i'm not asking question in the right forum, but this separate issues are from the same problem, is that why I was told to read rules 5/7, i'm new to this forum, I was just looking for some help with the browser. -

The other one seems to be a problem in Opera itself and not something related to your sync issue.

So far so good, i'm doing a happy dance i have opera 34 on my computer and it seems to be running smoothly, i have been able to sync my bookmarks, speed dials, etc. in lost of few things like my themes but that is no biggie ~ thank you so much for your help.
