@gh0st7: Do you have JavaScript enabled? It's required to browse this page.

Oh and BTW, Link is already down ?! We are not even in december !!!
@cqoicebordel: where is it you don't get Link to work?
- The planned shut down date is December 14
- When Link is closed, nothing will be removed from your browsers - your data (including notes) will remain in your browser, but it will not sync between your devices, and you cannot access your data on https://link.opera.com

It is a real pity: The new sync Service does not carry over any of the notes I have kept in my Bookmarks pages.
Also the separate Notes where really useful, even so not synced to any phones (I organized my Wedding with it and my wife was able to see all I have arranged and vice versa...) and stacking the tabs is still not supported on the new browser which I made extensive use off in Opera....For people with the same problem as me (at least for the notes in the bookmarks section):
Export your Bookmarks from the Browser as HTML, at least this way you can create a link to this html page in the new browser, open it and you will still be able to search the page for the notes as they are actually exported when you export the Bookmarks as html.
Works, but it will be a pain to keep updated in the future...
So I wonder how many years it will take before we can see stacked browsing tabs (another 2?) or Notes to the bookmarks or even as separate...(probably never, most people now a days seem to rely on automatic sorting, just not enough people using old style "logic" and "organizational" talent to sort or tag their stuff...
Works maybe for social stuff, but for technical bookmarks in various industry areas tagging and own notes are really essential... -

On https://link.opera.com/ : "Access to the Opera Link data has been denied (token ATpfcch9fVXHYQx3jMf0aS5on5bet5JT)"
You should have them in your computer, right?
There is more data on the server than in my browser. So no, everything won't be in my browser when Link die.
Also it shouldn't be that hard to go to Link notes page and just save it.
Sure. It's in a beautiful format to be reused, imported in a new browser/extension...

Please try to
- Go to https://auth.opera.com and out there
- Go to https://link.opera.com and sign in again

Well, you still have time to "fix" the problem.
Sure, that's why I'm asking for a method to export my data from the server.
I don't want to mix what is in my browser with what is on the server. Is it really too hard to do a script that would export everything in CSV/JSON/XML ? I would do it if you would still give tokens/allow to register new applications to access the API (https://auth.opera.com/service/oauth/applications/)

Hi,
I did migrated to new server as recommended. But I have no sync tools other than "Opera Link" at my Opera 12.16 for Linux. (That's the last version for OS I use). Will be there some update supporting new sync system for Linux before "Opera Link" is closed?

Most probably because it doesn't worth the costs. Also it doesn't make sense to work on an update for an old version of a software.

@marwerno I'm agree with all you said. In my case i cant export as htlm from the phone because OM 4.5 hasn't export function.
It's really a shame that Opera not continue with very useful notes function! -

@gh0st7: sync.opera.com still does not work for you? Does it happen every time? If so, could you help us with identifying the problem by pasting screenshot from WebInspector (Network Tab)? We suspect that your CSS and JS files are not loaded somehow. Thank you in advance!

@sominski: if you are using 32-bit Linux then so far we have new Opera for this version in the developer stream. Thus it would not autoupdate as such, but you can install it manually, then try to import your data from Presto Opera and then use Sync from there.
32-bit .deb version: link
32-bit RPM version: link

From the sync page,
"What data does Opera synchronize between my devices?
Opera synchronizes bookmarks, open tabs, Speed Dial shortcuts and more from all of your devices. It merges bookmarks from each device you sign in with, remembers which tabs you have open on each device, and lets you access the Speed Dial start pages of your devices, anywhere."
Question:: If Opera MERGES bookmarks from all of your devices, is there any way to pick and choose which bookmarks I want placed on the newly synced device?? For instance, I have already synced my tablet (no bookmarks originally) to the bookmarks placed there (on Opera server) by my Opera on Computer. Thus my tablet has all the bookmarks from my Computer Opera. I subsequently sign out of sync from my tablet, such that any new bookmarks added to my Opera (Computer) are not synced. Then later I add some bookmarks to Opera for Computer (which is still synced) - SOME of which I want on my Tablet (and others not) . I now sync my tablet, and what I want to do is pick and choose which of the new bookmarks I want added to my tablet.
Can this be done??
In the past what I have done is go to a Web page that I have newly bookmarked on my computer, and copied the address, and then I email that to myself, open the email on my tablet, go to the web page contained in that email, and THEN bookmark that in my Opera on my Tablet.
Also, has the Opera team solved the duplicate/triplicate and reordering of bookmarks after I sync my devices??
