I really like opera, I want to use it but I found one obstacle that I can't get through: proxy settings. Why there can't be just like in firefox where you can to choose even to disable proxy?
Or am I missing something?
thanks.

yeah, I know about it but I can't change it enough to view some sites; how to turn it off completely in opera?
in firefox I can do that and I can view those sites...

Opera uses your OS proxy settings. If you want to turn it off in Opera you turn it off in your OS. Also, do you have Opera Turbo enabled? That can sometimes causes errors with websites, if that is the root reason why you want to change it.
