Why there can't be just like in firefox where you can to choose even to disable proxy?</p>

If you want to turn it off in Opera you turn it off in your OS. Also, do you have Opera Turbo enabled? That can sometimes causes errors with websites, if that is the root reason why you want to change it.</p>
