Mini won't launch on iOS

I'm having a weird problem that started just this weekend. I have no idea why.
I'm running the latest Mini on an iPhone 4s with the latest iOS. My phone is otherwise behaving normally.
When I launch Mini from its icon, it shows a blank, white Mini screen for 10 to 20 seconds, then dumps me back to the iPhone home screen. The recent apps screen does show the small Mini screen with the home icons. If I select that one, it shows the Mini start page with my favorites then dumps me back to the iphone home screen.
This problem persists through rebooting my phone. The only change in my phone in the last week were routine updates of dropbox, youtube, thescore, and hbogo.
Does anyone have suggestions on what's happening and what I can do about it?

A followup for anyone who might have similar problems: On advice from my bug track report, I deleted and reinstalled Mini from my iphone. That seems to have cleared the problem. I did lose my speed dial shortcuts, but my other bookmarks remained.
