  • Looks like a very complicated Email program.
Needless to say I am having difficulties.
Loaded the program and the 1st thing I got was
this message: "server responded pops server failed
to process your request". All the startup info was
done for me and I have no control over it.
I sure hate to go back to Thunderbird or Outlook.com.
I am using the Windows Internet explorer. I understand that
the Opera email is a stand alone program. Is that correct?
    Thanks for any help.....

  • Which version of Opera do you have in question?

The thing is, in their recent development of their __nu__Opera they seem to have dropped maintaining the integrated mail client.

  • Thanks for responding joshl.
    I have Version 1.0 build 1040 win32 windows 7 pro 64-bit
    I don't understand your 2nd comment.
Is Opera email still a valid email????????

  • I'm afraid I'm going to have to abandon Opera Email.
Nothing works for me. Good luck everyone.

No, I meant your Opera version.
Or is it not the integrated client you're talking about?

  • Or is it not the integrated client you're talking about?

The OP is using the standalone email client.

You mean the email client or the old myopera email service? The last was closed about a year ago.

And the email client is no longer being developed but still can be used.

Which email provider? Have you checked the settings for the pop3 server? And what about username and password?
