new to Opera

Looks like a very complicated Email program.
Needless to say I am having difficulties.
Loaded the program and the 1st thing I got was
this message: "server responded pops server failed
to process your request". All the startup info was
done for me and I have no control over it.
I sure hate to go back to Thunderbird or Outlook.com.
I am using the Windows Internet explorer. I understand that
the Opera email is a stand alone program. Is that correct?
Thanks for any help..... -

Which version of Opera do you have in question?
The thing is, in their recent development of their __nu__Opera they seem to have dropped maintaining the integrated mail client.

Is Opera email still a valid email????????No, I meant your Opera version.
Or is it not the integrated client you're talking about? -

You mean the email client or the old myopera email service? The last was closed about a year ago.
And the email client is no longer being developed but still can be used.
