Opera Mail - Authentication failure

I have been using Opera Mail for about 2 years accessing 3 hotmail accounts.
Yesterday I started getting the following message on one of those accountsAuthentication failure: unknown user name or bad password.
[Error="ProxyNotAuthenticated" AuthResult=0 Proxy:1995=VI1PR03MB1325.eurprd03.prod.outlook.com:sslI am able to access the account using MSOutlook having changed the passwords
I have tried re-adding the account but that does not work
Has anyone any idea what I need to do to enable access in Opera Mail

It says it's trying to connect on port 1995. That should be port 995. Looks like the port setting in Opera is set to 1995 instead of 995. On the servers tab in the account's properties, fix the port and retype your username and password. Make sure TLS is checked and authentication is set to "auto".
Also, goto outlook.com in your browser and make sure POP is still enabled for the account.

The current build no is 1044
The port number in the properties is 995, TLS is checked and authentication is set to "auto"

I searched for "ProxyNotAuthenticated" on google and a few results had the 1995 issue where switching ot 995 fixed it. But, there were lots of other suggestions for the issue too that I didn't take a look at.

Seems like this is not a permanent solution as I am still getting error messages but email client appears to be picking up the emails!
