VPN on Mac not working?

I have it turned on, but it doesn't seem to be working. If I run the Ookla SpeedTest it knows exactly where I am.

Judging by the comments on the blog post and by posts here, there have been some issues so far. But until someone from Opera actually posts about it, I have no idea what those might be.

Tested again and working today; though SpeedTest still knows where I am, others don't.

Currently plug-ins are not using the VPN (this is being worked on). Because SpeedTest uses Flash, it's not being routed through the VPN.

Try using SpeedTest beta using HTML5: http://beta.speedtest.net/?a=1#

And to make sure you're always using the VPN, you could disable plug-ins completely (not that many sites require Flash anymore) until we get a more final solution.

I am using the beta SpeedTest page, which still shows the location.

It could be that some websites use webrtc - currently it is leaking ones IP even with vpn ON!!
try to use addon that disables webrtc
