From the comments in the links i'vbe posted:

"To be honest it looks like we won't be putting resources in to it for the next few months, unless something changes."

Based on them i guess you can check back in about six months if something has changed.

As said in the comments I've linked before, they seem to not have a user base big enough to worth the efforts to code a browser.

So they seem to be evaluating how things will go on to see if they will continue to release for Windows Phone.

So, still no bookmark sync with opera mini?
As I'm using opera now on my desktop, I really wanted to use opera mini on my Windows Phone (lumia 950XL) but I found it slower than microsoft edge mobile.

Why opera mini btw and not a full featured opera browser on windows phone?

Opera has “nothing in the pipeline” for their Opera Mini app for Windows Phone

The last time the Opera Mini browser for Windows Phone was updated was in October last year, now a bit more than 5 months ago.

Since then the Android version of the app has seen 3 updates, adding new gestures, a new discovery section and new localizations. The Windows Phone version has however lied fallow, prompting Windows Phone fan site Lovable Lumia to ask the company if anything new is on the way.

Unfortunately the answer was not in the affirmative, with the company’s support saying on twitter.

Windows Phone in particular has a problem with zombie apps, and with the Mini browser not needed on the desktop there is little benefit from the expanded Windows 10 ecosystem, suggesting may have to wait a lot longer than 5 months to see a new update for this.

Opera Mini’s main utility is as a fast, data-sipping browser. Are any of our readers regular Opera Mini users or is Edge and IE11 enough? Let us know below.

Anyway... we've pushed a bug fixing update to the store today. Not much changes, but a very common Windows 10 specific crash was fixed.

Build 9.0.0.214 is there for you to download.
