Since the new update was installed, I now have to resign in to all my secure pages, even though before this some of them I have them set to automatically leave me signed in. Even THIS web site asked me to sign in again, when usually it knows who I am when I open the Opera Forums page.

For instance, I had set my Google search page to return English links, but today it pops up with Spanish returns (I am currently in Spain). It seems that Google has "forgotten" that I always am signed in, whereas today, it asked me to sign in once again. Some of my message board where I always signed in, now are asking me to sign in as if I had signed out.

On a few of those web sites that I am always logged in, after I clear my browsing history (only "cached images and files"), and close Opera and reopen it, they make me sign in again.

On some of my secure banking sites, when I login the site asks to send me a secure email to make certain I am really who I am, and then I have to enter the secure code to register my computer...which has always been registered. For some reason, those sites think I am no logging in from my home computer.

Seems some cookies are being lost. This is intolerable.

      Why is that??

I'm not facing such issue here.

Have you tried to delete the cookies file? Maybe it got corrupted.

I REALLY hesitate to delete my cookies, that would create havoc with ALL the myriad web sites I use that need old cookies to login correctly.

The only thing I can think of is that I did an upgrade to Opera 12.17 to 12.18, but that shouldn't affect my O35 at all.

Another mysterious problem that will probably never be answered.

          Thanks for your comment
