Opera Link for Opera Version .xx

Hello ,

Understand Opera link might already have stopped service for older Opera version like V.11.50

Please can someone tells me the file name stored my bookmarks & Opera link data so that I can search this file from my computer and then I can put this file to my dropbox as a work around to sync across my office & home Opera broswer.

What are you syncing? Bookmarks are listed in About Opera.

Mainly are the bookmark from the book Mark bar.

What is the file name is this would be? So that I can search "my computer".

I am in Preferences Editor ( opera:config ) trying to find bookmark ., I can see in user prefs " Hot List File Ver2 ".

Is it the correct one where Opera locating my bookmarks ?

It is because I want to use this " Hot List File Ver2 " to input :

"C:Dropbox\bookmark.adr"

So all my machine can use the same set of bookmark because I move it to my DropBox.

Bookmarks you can change in the Bookmarks Manager or sidebar panel directly. In Manage Bookmarks, you'll see a File button in the toolbar with items named Open, Save, Save as HTML, Export, etc. Save not only saves the file where you choose with the name you choose, it also sets Hot List File Ver2 to that address, so Opera continues to save changes to that file. Likewise Open not only opens the file you indicate, it sets that as the file to be used. In the Bookmarks panel, the same menu is a submenu of the context menu. It's only things like Contacts and Notes where you'd have to use the Preferences Editor (and physically copy the file there yourself).

Hello ,

I am done with my 3 different laptops synced by Google Drive .

( as I pointed the Hot List File Ver2 to that address on all the 3 different laptops )

Problem I found , I have these files in the Google Drive :

bookmarks.adr

bookmarks ( laptop A conflicted copy 2016-02-01).adr

bookmarks ( laptop B conflicted copy 2016-02-02).adr

===> I want to seek for an application I could be able to open all these .adr file.
( so that i could compare what is different between these files )

I also assure the 3 different laptops always pointed to : bookmarks.adr

Afaik you can open it in a text editor.

Hi leocg,

Thank you very much and it did .

As I didn't aware because the icon of "bookmark.adr" showing not like an text document.

The icon now appears as a normal text doc icon after I choose to open with text editor.
